Keys

• The house key opens all external doors.
• Remote control I opens the wicket gate, II opens the big street gate, III opens the garage.
• 

Instructions are available for the various machines: washing machine, dryer, oven and microwave.

For the coffee-maker, if it stops working, you need to empty the drawer on the left, then take out, clean and put the red plastic part back to make coffee again.

Lights

In the lounge, living room, you will control the outdoor lights and pool opening from the corner closest to the pool..

On the right, the round button controls the pool :

• Left arrow for the opening
• Right arrow to close (one gentle press is all it takes).

The other buttons control the exterior lighting.

Alarm

The alarm remote control is operated by the on and off buttons.

• To protect the perimeter only, press 1 then ON
• To protect the interior only, press 2 then ON.

In the event of a nuisance alarm, press OFF.

 Pool

The pool is a salt pool. Ph is self-regulated.

The water level is levelled automatically. As a precaution, before closing the roller shutter, check the black water level mark. I once broke the roller shutter trying to close it when there wasn’t enough water in the pool.

The salt level was checked before the exchange.

The pool control room is in the basement.

BEDDING

There are 2 double beds and 2 double convertible sofas (yoga room and gym) in the house and possibly a single bed in my consulting room.

OTHER EQUIPMENT/FEATURES

The mosquitoe screens are very fragile, so please handle them with care.

Adjustable shading devices (BSO) are controlled by levers mounted on the wall in the immediate vicinity of the screen..

The washing machine, dryer and vacuum cleaner are in the basement laundry room. There is also a central vacuum cleaner.

TVS

There are 3 televisions in the house. The ones on the ground floor can be controlled via the UHT antenna or the free box.

UHT use:  press the red button on the LG control to switch on, then the top right button, then press live TV with the red index finger on it.

The Free box  gives access to netflix and numerous channels.  

• With the LG control, press HDMI 2, then switch on the Free control, which provides access to all Free channels.
• Basement TV only works via UHT.

Sauna

The ground floor bathroom sauna should be preheated for half an hour before use. Enter maximum temperature (60°) and at least 45 mins to preheat.

The air-conditioning is controlled by the buttons below. The 3 controls are located in the entrance hall on the ground floor at the top of the stairs and in the outside office. All 3 must be set to either hot or cold to operate. 

ENVIRONMENT

All essential shops – bakery, grocery store, bank, pharmacy, pizzeria de l’Ormeau (excellent) – are available around Place de l’Ormeau, within a max of 300 m from the house.

The town center is accessible by bus: line 8, Aude stop. Go up chemin Mal Clabel and turn left. It can also be reached by car in around 20 minutes.

An electric bike is available in the garage. Be sure to lock it, as there’s a lot of theft in town. The key to the lock is attached to the underside of the saddle.
